“Emotive Cues”. An ongoing research project about improving the user experience of products such as home appliances through object characterization method. The online survey conducted with 100 participants shows the score of nearly 60% on System Usability Scale (SUS). Meaning that more than half of participants are ready for this new system. Moreover, the word “respect” appears more than 30 times when they were asked about how are they feeling towards a characterized object. This has proven the research’ hypothesis, which stated that people have the tendency to respect and care of the inanimate objects if they were able to show emotions towards users’ action.
